The consumption of psychotropic substances entails a series of very important risks, and one of the best known is dependency: in a sometimes quite literal sense, a need to continue consuming the substance at all costs. But evaluating the addictive potential of each drug is not easy: for this reason, a team of researchers from Imperial College London tried to develop a scale for this parameter, published in the prestigious scientific medium The Lancet.
