Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin recently congratulated a young girl named Tania, who had undergone facial reconstruction surgery and was now able to attend school. The principal of Tania’s school shared the news on social media and expressed their excitement for her progress. Tania had been born with a rare facial dystrophy, and after asking for help from the Chief Minister, she was able to receive the necessary surgery. She underwent an eight-hour procedure in August of last year and a second two-hour surgery in January of this year to fix some remaining issues. After her successful surgeries, Tania was able to return home and eventually pass her fourth-grade exams. She started fifth grade in a private school in the Veerapuram area just recently.

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.Stalin has congratulated Achirumi, a girl Tania, who was cured of facial deformity and underwent facelift treatment, started going to school.

In this regard, the principal posted on his social media page, “Dear Tania, I heard that you have started going to school. I am happy. I wish teachers and dear friends to support you in your progress.”

Earlier, Stephenraj hailed from Veerapuram area near Avadi in Tiruvallur district and his wife was Saubhagya. The couple’s daughter Tania (9) suffered from a rare type of facial dystrophy. Therefore, when the girl Tania requested the Chief Minister to extend her helping hand, the Chief Minister M. K. Stalin ordered the girl to be treated immediately.

Following this, on August 23 last year at Thandalam Private Medical College Hospital near Poontamalli, the girl Tania was given an 8-hour continuous surgery and facial reconstruction was done. Subsequently, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin met the girl Tania at the hospital and inquired about her well-being. Then, in September, little Tania returned home.

In this case, he was struggling to close the eye on the side where he underwent facelift surgery, to speak and to open his mouth to eat easily. To find a solution to that, on January 5th, the 2nd stage surgery was conducted for the girl Tania at Thandalam Private Medical College Hospital by a team of 11 doctors for about 2 hours. A few days later, little Tania returned home.

Subsequently, on February 8, Chief Minister M. K. Stalin’s daughter Tania went to his home and inquired about his well-being. In this case, the girl Tania, who recovered after two stage surgery, searched for a home and passed the 4th standard exam through education. Following this, the girl Tania was again admitted in the 5th class yesterday in a private school in Veerapuram area.
