The Tamil Nadu government has sealed the Sudha Hospital in Erode in the case of receiving an egg from a 16-year-old girl. Opposing this, Sudha Hospital went to the court and obtained an injunction and reopened the hospital, but yesterday the court again intervened and ordered to seal it.

Following this, the health officials went to seal the hospital yesterday. Doctors on behalf of the Erode branch of the Indian Medical Association in Erode district are protesting against the emergency sealing of Sudha Hospital.

In this, 800 doctors in 250 hospitals across the district are on strike without allowing outpatients for treatment. They are going on strike announcing that only the emergency department will function as usual.
