Roscosmos is developing a new operating model to increase efficiency

The day before, on October 26, Russian President Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the development of the space industry. It also discussed the creation of the Russian Orbital Station (ROS). Putin called it “Russia’s outpost for exploring and conquering the Universe.” In the summer of 2022, Borisov informed the president about Roscosmos’ plans to withdraw from the ISS project and the development of ROS. Its construction is planned for 2027–2032. Borisov previously said that Russia should withdraw from the ISS project at the moment when the deployment of ROS begins.
