Sales of new passenger cars in 2023 increased by 62%

The best-selling passenger car in 2023 was the Lada Granta: 191,074 vehicles were sold, accounting for 18% of the market. In 2nd place by a large margin was the Chinese Haval Jolion – 48,980 units (5% of the new passenger car segment). 3rd place – Lada Niva (46,850 units), 4th – Lada Vesta (41,296 cars) and 5th place – Chinese Chery Tiggo 7 Pro Max (40,992). Each of the last three models accounted for 4% of the market last year. All top sellers, except Chery Tiggo, are produced in Russia.
