SÃO PAULO, SP (FOLHAPRESS) – A bet made through Caixa Econômica Federal’s electronic channels was the only winner of the main prize in Mega-Sena competition 2641, drawn this Thursday (5). Thus, the winner from Salvador (BA) alone wins the jackpot of R$ 32,744,242.80.
The numbers drawn at Espaço da Sorte, in São Paulo, were: 09 – 24 – 34 – 39 – 45 – 50.
According to Caixa, 32 bets marked five numbers and each one will receive R$88,671.63. Another 2,766 matched four dozen and will win R$1,465.49 each.
The next contest, 2642, has an estimated prize of R$3 million and will be drawn on Saturday (7).
A single bet for Mega-Sena costs R$5 and can be placed until 7pm (Brasília time) on the day of the draw at a lottery outlet or online, via the Loterias Caixa app or via the Caixa lottery website.
The probability of success for anyone placing a six-number bet (worth R$5) on the Mega-Sena is one in more than 50 million. When betting with seven numbers (which costs R$35), the chance increases to one in 7.1 million.
The largest regular prize ever paid was on October 1, 2022, in contest 2,525, when two winning bets shared R$317,853,788.53. At that time, Mega had accumulated 14 consecutive competitions.
