He appears to have posted a video on his Facebook page claiming that the Taliban were chasing Afghans towards Turkey, causing civilians to run to the airport in fear on the streets of Kabul. .It went viral on social media.
Following this, the Taliban government arrested Imran who was at his home in Kabul. Similarly, another social media celebrity named Abdul Rahman was also arrested. The Taliban are warning that strict action will be taken against those spreading rumors against the government. The constant arrest of social media celebrities has shocked the public.
Similarly, reports from there suggest that those who were in the security forces during the previous regime are also being arrested.
