The Additional Tax Bill has been tabled in Parliament by its Chairman Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.
It was decided to levy an additional tax of 25 per cent on individuals or companies earning taxable income in excess of Rs. 2000 million.
It is noteworthy that the Cabinet had recently approved a one-time 25 per cent surcharge bill.
