Tamil filmmaker K. Rajan has said that if Telugu films fail, its protagonists will return half of their salary to the producer. He appealed to the Tamil film actors to follow the Telugu heroes in this matter.
The trailer and music release ceremony of the film ‘Siddi’, which is made in both Tamil and Malayalam languages, was held in Chennai yesterday. Producer K. Rajan and director RV Udayakumar along with the film crew were the special guests. Speaking on the occasion, K. Rajan said that if films in Tamil fail, producers will disappear.
But when the Telugu film ‘Bruce Lee’ released in 2015 failed, the film’s protagonist Ram Charan claimed that he had repaid Rs 15 crore of his salary to the producer. K. Rajan pointed out that actor Prabhas had recently repaid half of his salary of Rs 50 crore following the failure of his Radhe Shyam film.
