At the same time, she had revealed that she too had unfortunately been diagnosed with cancer. Characteristically, he had stated: “My wife suffered the same thing and we are fighting it. This happened to us and we have to fight. We do not give up. It’s harder from the outside. When you’re a patient, you come out of the operating room and you don’t understand anything.”
