On May 24, the Association of Armenian Businessmen met with the youth of the Armenian community at the TUMO Creative Technologies Center in Moscow, during which the Executive Director of the Association, Gohar Gumashyan, presented the upcoming events organized within the framework of the Buissup project. More than 50 young Armenians from leading Russian universities participated in the meeting.

The Buissup Hackathon project was presented at the meeting, which will be held on July 9-10 in Moscow and 4 cities of the Republic of Armenia. During the 35 continuous hours of the event, teams will be formed around the best ideas, and with the help of mentors, they will create prototypes of their projects.

Both already formed teams and people with a business idea who want to involve a programmer, marketer, designer or other specialist in their team can participate in the event. At the end of the competition, the best teams will have the opportunity to participate in the biggest youth event of the association – Buissup Global Forum 2022, bypassing the application stage.

Buissup Global Forum 2022 will be held on September 5-11 in Dilijan, Armenia. During the 7 days of the forum, already formed teams will develop their business projects. On the final day, 200 participants will have the opportunity to present their ideas to investors, and the best ones will receive investments for further development. As a result of Buissup Global Forum 2021, the best 9 ideas received a total investment of more than 1.2 million dollars.

Narek Aleksanyan, one of the main mentors of Buissup Global Forum, gave a speech during the meeting, who presented the approach and process of working with startups within the framework of the Association’s events. The participants of Buissup Global Forum 2021 also shared their memories and participation experience, who told about their professional growth after participating in the event.
