The devices to be announced first with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 after its launch, led by Xiaomi 13

Qualcomm’s new flagship processor (Qualcomm), as it is already known, will be announced again this year at the company’s developer conference which will be held again in Hawaii between November 15 and 17. The announcement of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be followed, as in every generation, by a wave of announcements and launches of new phones with the leading processor, and as always, Xiaomi will once again be the first.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, according to reports will be integrated in Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. Their first show should happen before the end of November, and the actual launch before the end of 2022. Some of the details about them have already been reported. For example, Xiaomi 13 will be equipped with a 6.26-inch OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and will support charging with a power of 67 watts. The Pro version will come with a 6.7-inch E6 AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and support for charging at a maximum power of 120 watts. Both devices will offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Other devices that will come after the Xiaomi phones include Vivo’s X90 with charging at a maximum power of 80 watts, a main camera based on Sony’s IMX989 sensor with a Zeiss lens, iQoo 11 with charging between 120 and 200 watts with a new Vivo chip, as well as Honor’s Magic, a foldable phone. Regarding Samsung’s Galaxy S23, it is not yet clear whether it will prefer its own chip or whether it will stay with Qualcomm.
