Prices for the new iPhone 15 in Russia will reach 250 thousand rubles. But the choice will be limited at first. Retailers told Kommersant FM about this. The morning after Apple’s presentation, Yandex Market made it possible to pre-order the iPhone 15, but only in the Pro version with 256 GB of memory. For 178 thousand rubles. All four colors were available to the buyer. By the evening of the same day, the smartphone in the titanium blue color was sold out. The rest are still promised to be delivered in early October.
And representatives of the marketplace admitted to Kommersant FM that the number of devices is limited. M.Video has a much larger selection, but delivery is later. As Kommersant FM found out, having added the product to the cart, the device will be delivered on October 13. And you have to pay now, said M.Video-Eldorado representative Andrey Petrov:
“All presented iPhone 15 are available to choose from. Memory capacity from 128 GB to up to 1 TB. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15+ are offered in five colors, including new ones – black, blue, pink, yellow, green. Devices from the Pro series with a titanium case are available in four variations: titanium, titanium black, titanium blue and titanium white. The cost of iPhone 15 starts from 130 thousand rubles. iPhone 15+ – from 140 thousand rubles, iPhone 15 Pro – from 160 thousand rubles, and iPhone 15 Pro Max – from 195 thousand rubles.”
However, not all retailers convey such confidence in supplies to customers. There are no direct sales of Apple products to Russia; smartphones enter the country exclusively through parallel imports. There are no guarantees here, emphasizes Anton Gusev, product manager for Apple at the X-Com group of companies:
“We currently do not have any specific offer for consumers. Because we don’t quite understand what the positions are for the near future. We try not to promise in advance, because it is better to do this when there is a clearer understanding of when a particular model will arrive. Now we don’t have such an understanding.”
“Kommersant FM” studied the offers of other retailers. There, the price for a flagship device with maximum memory reaches 250 thousand rubles. But not in all cases you will have to pay this amount right away. MTS, for example, offers to purchase a certificate for the purchase of a new iPhone for 25 thousand rubles. And in some stores, for example, ReStore, they don’t even announce the final cost of the product yet. However, editor-in-chief of AppleInsider.ru Renat Grishin has no doubt that the demand will be satisfied:
“There has been no such deficit for five years now. And if you consider that the 15th model is practically no different from the 14th, then the demand for the new iPhone will clearly not be strong. Two weeks of stock after the official start of sales is nothing at all.
And all these pre-orders – so our retail has now hedged its bets and actually said that it will not do this with its own money. That’s why they are collecting pre-orders. Those who are definitely ready to buy it bring money, and retailers bring it.”
