The overflight of a village in the Drôme by Santa Claus authorized via a municipal decree

by time news

Good news for Santa Claus, he will be officially authorized to travel by sleigh in the airspace of Moras-en-Valloire (Drôme). He even received the green light to land in the village to distribute the gifts. The town hall of the town has indeed issued a municipal decree to this effect on Tuesday, reports France Bleu Drôme Ardèche. The text relates to December 24 and 25.

The decree contains eight articles riddled with fanciful references. He indicates, for example, to rely on the “General Code of the Far North”, “prohibits the presence of the Grinch and the bogeyman” and “invites” the children of the commune to provide a glass of milk, biscuits or a drawing. The text also authorizes “the maximum presence of six elves” to assist Santa Claus.

The approach was, for the first time, mentioned jokingly during the junior municipal council. One of the young members claimed that Santa Claus goes where he wants. Mayor Aurélien Ferlay then explained to him that the municipality had authority in the public domain. The idea of the decree was born.
