As the difficulties of recruiting executives add up, how can we ensure that we retain those who are already in office? A growing concern for companies, and more particularly for the largest, 57% of which say they are concerned about departures or risks of departure, according to a recent study by the Association for the Employment of Executives (Apec). A figure which falls to 30% for SMEs and 17% for mid-sized companies.
The fear of not finding a replacement candidate, or of seeing the functioning of the company disrupted, fuels this fear of turnover, in a context of strong recruitment tensions on the job market.
