The Yamaha R7 Cup opens its registration period for its 2024 edition after chaining two seasons of great success and participation. To take part in this competition It is enough to have a unit owned by Yamaha YZF-R7 equipped with the GYTR kit or rent one for the entire season or individual events, which puts it within the reach of any ordinary fan.

The 2023 calendar will take place between the months of April and August 2024 on the circuits of Cheste, Jerez, Cartagena, Jarama and Navarra. The three best classifieds will enjoy the unique opportunity to compete in the Superfinale against other international drivers from this same single-make cup.

That the best environment to enjoy a motorcycle is a circuit is a widely proven statement. Now, making the leap to competing on the track is often seen as an often insurmountable obstacle. Yamaha Spain tries to soften this challenge for competition fans with the Yamaha R7 Cup, single-brand competition that runs through our geography with the Spanish Speed Cup and which has already opened its registration period.

The undisputed protagonist of the contest is the YZF-R7, Yamaha’s Super Sport born to enjoy riding. Its well-known handling, balance and accessibility as standard are optimized with the GYTR kit, mandatory for all participants, which adds safety elements and its own parts to better adapt it to the circuits, and can be dismantled without any problem at the end of the season to recover the original state of the frame and use it again on the open road.

It is enough to be over 16 years old to compete in the R7 Cup. If you do not own a YZF-R7 or simply want to kill the competition bug, Yamaha Spain offers the Wild Card experience. This option is open to any driver over 16 years of age in possession of a license, and allows you to rent a unit and compete in an individual event or the entire championship.

The cost of participation for a single test is 1,349 euros, which gives the right to enjoy registration, exclusive Yamaha clothing and access to all services (podiums, photography, coach, etc.). Only the gasoline and tires consumed, and damages resulting from possible falls, should be paid separately.
