How common is thyroid cancer?

According to the American Association Against Cancerby the year 2023 in the United States a total of 43,720 cases have been reported.

Of the total cases, 12,540 are in men while 31,180 of the cases are in women.

It is estimated that around 2,120 people will die from complications of this cancer. 970 men and 1,150 women.

However, most types of thyroid cancer are curable when detected early.
