The Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev will attend the capability demonstration day of the fourth joint international training “Rhodope – 24” tomorrow. The Deputy Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Tsanko Stoykov and the Commander of the Ground Forces Major General Deyan Deshkov will also attend the event .
The day for demonstration of abilities by the military personnel will be held in the area of the “Perelik” locality. The participants in the exercise will perform tactical tasks of defense, offensive, landing using the “Fast rope” method and evacuation of a wounded person. There will be a static display of equipment, gear and gear used by Alpine climbers. This was announced by the press center of the Ministry of Defense.
Military personnel from the Ground Forces Command, 101st Alpine Regiment, 110th Logistic Regiment – Plovdiv, Military Medical Academy, 24th Air Base – Krumovo, Republic of Croatia and Republic of Austria, as well as observers from The NATO Center for Mountain Training from the Republic of Slovenia.
