Tragic Death of 12th Class Student in Telangana Hostel: Suspicion of Mental Torture by Authorities

Hyderabad: A 12th class student was found hanging in her hostel in Telangana’s Suryapet. Vaishnavi, a student of Social Welfare Gurukula Public School, died. The incident took place on Saturday at half past nine. Last night, a farewell party was held for the plus two students of the school. Meanwhile, the incident occurred which shocked the students and teachers. Vaishnavi had gone to the room while the students were having their snack. After missing for a long time, Vaishnavi was found hanging from the fan during the inspection.

Other students say that Vaishnavi participated in the farewell party very happily. He used to video call his mother on WhatsApp and talk about the school celebrations. Vaishnavi’s parents say that the hostel authorities called them saying that their daughter was suffering from fever. The death of her daughter is suspicious. The parents also alleged that by the time we reached the hospital, the school authorities had left the place.

The police registered a case and started investigation. Two girls were found dead in SC Welfare Hostel in Bhongir in Telangana two weeks ago. There is a strong suspicion that mental torture by the hostel authorities is behind the deaths.
