226,300 employees work for Deutsche Telekom around the world – and around 90,000 of them in Germany. The mobile communications giant is one of Germany’s largest employers and supplies millions of customers with the Internet, television and mobile communications, generating sales of 101 billion euros in 2020.

Deutsche Telekom was still a public company until 1995 and then became Deutsche Telekom AG, which went public in November 1996. Around 10,000 civil servants are still working there to this day.
