Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Transport announced the signing of the minutes of completing the development road requirements with Anbar Governorate, while indicating that the length of the road route in the governorate will reach 98 km.
The ministry said in a statement received by the (INA): “The Director General of Railways, Younis Khaled Jawad Al-Kaabi, represented by the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, signed the report (of non-conflict with the development path) with the local government in Anbar.”
She added, “In keeping with the plans drawn up for the Year of Achievements 2024, in the governorates, and in completion of the Development Road Project, this year will witness the completion of visits and tours in the rest of the governorates to complete the signing of all the minutes,” noting that “the length of the Development Road route in Anbar is 98 km.” .
She continued, “The road will connect the current western line to the Greater Baghdad Interchange Station,” explaining that “the area of ​​the goods station is one million and 900 thousand square meters, and it is the largest in Iraq.”
The Director General of Railways, Younis Khaled Jawad Al-Kaabi, confirmed, according to the statement, that “there are a number of other governorates that will announce the completion of development road requirements soon, including Najaf Al-Ashraf, Holy Karbala, Dhi Qar, and Baghdad.”
