Tyrolean Jennifer fell ill with fatigue syndrome after a corona infection. The 24-year-old tells of the months of fatigue that robbed her of all strength.
Innsbruck – For many people, the pandemic has already receded into the background. Jennifer from the Oberland, on the other hand, is still struggling with the long-term effects of a corona infection. The 24-year-old fell ill with Long Covid a year ago and suffered from a chronic form of exhaustion, fatigue syndrome.
“Last year I barely made it up the stairs. I thought I was going to faint and had to lie down on the second floor,” says the Tyrolean. Luckily it’s going uphill now. “I’m noticing progress, I work 30 hours a week and physical activities like short hikes are possible again,” says Jennifer. But a certain concern remains. The last twelve months have been just too tough.
