In line with state efforts to provide renovated and attractive spaces for tourists, the company AES El Salvador has announced the implementation of an underground wiring plan on the Ruta de las Flores for this year.

The director of Planning and Engineering of AES El Salvador, Fabio Aragón, revealed that following the example of the conversion of aerial networks to underground in areas such as the Escalón neighborhood and the Historic Center of San Salvador, this initiative will now be extended to the Ruta de Las Flores, located in the west of the country.

Aragón highlighted that this type of wiring not only offers greater operational security and reduces the probability of interruptions, but also visually harmonizes with the natural environment. In addition, he highlighted that this project is aligned with the Government’s efforts to beautify public spaces and promote tourism.

The director of AES El Salvador also announced that electrification in Surf City will follow the same trend of underground wiring. “In the area of Las Flores and Punta Mango beaches, we have been executing a project since last year that includes a 13-kilometer line route. This will allow us to have underground electrification in that area, thus contributing to improving the view of the sectors and promoting tourism in the region,” he stated.
