It is noteworthy that now a days cell phone has become an indispensable thing that everyone has cell phones to talk only to the people they need. But a shocking survey result has revealed that unwanted calls are more than the calls from the people who need them.
Many people are saying that they are getting this call despite doing DND and don’t know how it is happening. A private company conducted a survey on unwanted calls and its results came as a shocker.
A total of around 12,000 people were surveyed and 92 per cent said they received unwanted calls despite being on the DND do not disturb list, especially from the financial services and real estate sectors.
66% reported receiving 3 or more daily calls every day and 96% reported receiving at least one call. Another 16 percent said they received an average of 6 to 10 calls daily and five percent said they received more than ten unwanted calls daily.
According to the private company, the survey was conducted by collecting 56,000 responses in 342 districts across the country and the results of the survey conducted from January 5 to February 5 have been published.
Getting calls despite being registered in DND Do Not Disturb list? 92 percent answered yes to the question. Many people have reported that unwanted calls are wasting their precious time and causing them emotional distress.
Of the 15,312 respondents to the survey, 50 percent said they received nuisance calls from individual mobile numbers, 29 percent from mobile numbers owned by companies or brands, and 14 percent from a centralized landline number.
Citizens working in financial services, real estate, and other service industries are also seen in their companies in sales and marketing who contract agencies to send out calls.
