President of Al-Qasim Sports Club, Hussein Al-Kaabi, confirmed his intention to follow all legal methods to address the injustice that the club was subjected to in the Iraq Stars League matches.
Al-Kaabi told the (INA), today, Sunday: “The administrative body submitted an objection regarding the arbitration injustice that accompanied the Al-Quwa Club match,” noting that “these cases are not new to our team, as this case was repeated against Zakho, as well as in the match.” Najaf.
Al-Kaabi explained that “the league clubs were rejoicing in the introduction of the video assistant technology (VAR) to reduce errors and identify arbitration cases, but unfortunately what happened is the opposite,” indicating that “applying the system in this haste harmed the competition, and it would have been better to be patient in implementing it and give the referees more time.” By entering into courses and matches in order to be dealt with professionally because of their importance in determining the fate of the teams.”
Al-Kaabi continued, “The Disciplinary Committee issued sanctions against the club, but we have time and the right to appeal, and we will exploit any legal loophole to restore the club’s rights,” pointing out that “the withdrawal was a hasty decision that came as a result of repeated injustice since 2019 until this moment.”
