William Rito got 7.1 million votes and Raila Odiminka got 6.9 million votes. In his first speech, William Rito pointed out that there is no room for revenge and he is well aware that our country is at a point where all hands are needed.

After the announcement of the results by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), the opposition came forward with allegations of fraud. Odiminka’s election agent Saitabo Ole Kanchori alleged that some intruders had hacked the Electoral Commission’s system and the Commission’s officials had committed electoral crimes.

Kanchori demanded that there is a secret report on the culprits and they should be arrested.
