The country’s fourth largest I.T. Wipro has released its December quarter financial results. Wipro posted a net profit of Rs 3,053 crore for the December 2022 quarter. This is 2.8 percent higher than in the December 2021 quarter. Wipro posted a net profit of Rs 2,969 crore in the quarter.
In the December quarter of 2022, Wipro has generated a total revenue of Rs.23,229 crore. This is 14.3 percent higher than the December 2021 quarter. In that quarter, Wipro earned a total revenue of Rs 20,313.6 crore. In this entire financial year on a fixed rupee basis, their I.T. Wipro expects revenue growth of 11.5 to 12 percent from the services business.
Wipro has declared a dividend of Rs 1 per share to its shareholders. At the close of trading on the Mumbai Stock Exchange on Friday, Wipro shares were down 0.20 percent from the previous trading day at Rs 393.65.
