Galeria Raul Solnado was the stage for the session where some of the most illustrious talents of Portuguese theater attended, including Manuela Maria, Diogo Infante, Helena Isabel, Carlos Paulo and José Raposo, president of Casa do Artista, names that marked this form of art over the last few decades.
“In the essence of theater lies the beauty of empathy and today in a world of war, what we need most is empathy. Actors are the alchemists of the soul”, highlighted Carlos Moedas, in thanks to the professionals in this sector.
To celebrate the day, and in the year that marks the 50th anniversary of April 25th, the EGEAC prepared a special programwith free entry.
World Theater Day was celebrated for the first time in 1962. The date continues to be marked annually on March 27th by the international theater community.
