President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky answered whether he was ready to meet with Vladimir Putin. He noted that this could happen only after the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine. He also shared his opinion on what is the next goal of Russia.

The head of Ukraine emphasized that Vladimir Putin avoided contact with him for two years, even telephone conversations. According to Zelensky, the Russian dictator has nothing to say, writes RBC-Ukraine.

“Putin is clearly aware that his attempts to seize Ukraine by force are undeniable. So what can you talk to me about? Putin only wants to seize Ukraine by war and destroy Ukrainian statehood,” the President of Ukraine said.

Vladimir Zelensky stressed that it would be difficult for him to speak with Putin before the withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine. In addition, the President of Ukraine named the next goal of the Russian dictator.

“Putin’s next target is Belarus. She (Russia) absorbs Belarusian metallurgy,” Zelensky added.

The last time Vladimir Zelensky and Vladimir Putin saw each other was at a meeting of the Normandy Four leaders in Paris in December 2019.

Now the position of the Ukrainian president has changed. Vladimir Zelensky rejects the possibility of meeting with Putin before the withdrawal of Russian troops. The head of Ukraine said he wants to see Putin at the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
