On the occasion of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s 104th birth anniversary, National Children’s Day, the capital market regulator Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has arranged employment for 5 visually impaired people. All of them are Master’s students from Dhaka University. Five institutes have recruited these students in their institutes.

On Wednesday (March 20) 104th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, National Children’s Day and opening of Commodity Market of Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), 5 visually impaired persons have been appointed in various institutions under the initiative of BSEC.

BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam presided over the function as Chief Guest, State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu. CDBL Chairman and Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) President Sheikh Kabir Hossain was the special guest.

CSE Chairman Asif Ibrahim, Managing Director M Saifur Rahman Majumder and others were also present in the event.

Five students were placed in the institutes:
Got a job in Chittagong Stock Exchange Plc. Jilani Ahmed got a job in 3-I Asset Management Company Limited. Abdul Waheed, Amreen Nahar Rimi at E-Generation Limited, Sadia Afrin Trisha at Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital and Bibi Kulsoom Lipi at Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS).

State Minister for Commerce Ahsanul Islam Titu said in the speech of the chief guest at the event, there can be no greater initiative than the one that has provided employment to five visually impaired people under the initiative of BSEC. For this I congratulate the Chairman of BSEC and all concerned. Prime Minister is working to build Smart Bangladesh. It is possible to make this smart Bangladesh if we all work together.

BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam said, “We will do something for those who are neglected in the society. I am providing employment for 5 visually impaired people of DU. We are trying to make every day not limited to speech.
