jpnn.comJAKARTA – APP Group synergizes with Tzu Chi APP Thamrin to hold takjil sharing activities for local communities, traders, online motorcycle taxis, couriers, cleaning service, security and other workers in the Thamrin area.
APP Group Managing Director and Tzu Chi APP Trustee Thamrin Suhendra Wiriadinata admitted that he believes that sharing happiness, especially in the month of Ramadan, is one way to increase caring and togetherness among others.
“By sharing takjil packaged in an environmentally friendly manner, we also want to convey another important message, about the importance of protecting the earth. This is an opportunity for us to practice the values of philanthropy and sustainability simultaneously,” said Suhendra Wiriadinata in Jakarta, Tuesday (26/ 3).
The takjil being distributed is packaged using Foopak Greaseproof and Enza paper products from APP Group, which are specifically designed to be a solution to replace single-use plastic.
Both types of packaging offer advantages such as being recyclable and compostable, safe for direct contact with food, and have been FDA and ISEGA certified.
Suhendra Wiriadinata added that the use of environmentally friendly paper packaging Foopak Greaseproof and Enza in this activity is part of the company’s efforts to campaign for a more sustainable lifestyle to the community.
“We hope this can be the first step for more similar activities that support environmental conservation,” he said.
It is further said that this initiative is in line with the government’s target of reducing plastic waste by 70% by 2025. APP Group is fully committed to supporting this effort through innovation and environmentally friendly solutions.
