Apple Releases iOS 17.1.2 and macOS Sonoma 14.1.2
Apple has rolled out the latest software updates for iPhone and Mac users. iOS 17.1.2 and macOS Sonoma 14.1.2 are described as security updates in the release notes.
The release of iOS 17.1.2 comes on the heels of the previous update, iOS 17.1.1, which addressed wireless charging issues for BMW drivers and a snow glitch. Similarly, macOS Sonoma 14.1.1 was released to address compatibility with new M1 MacBook Pros.
In addition to the security updates, Apple has been publicly testing a larger update to iOS 17 with the iOS 17.2 beta. This upcoming release introduces Apple’s new Journal app for iPhone, collaborative playlists in Apple Music, new Clock and Weather widgets, and updates to Tapback in Messages.
