BerlinA Tanzanian-German research team discovered new dinosaur fossils on an expedition in the south of Tanzania and reported that they were “overwhelming”. More than a hundred years after paleontologists from the German Museum of Natural History in Berlin had 250 tons of fossils transported away from exactly that area on Mount Tendaguru during an excavation from 1909 to 1913, the new team returned to the site of the great world-famous dinosaurs exhibited in Berlin. At that time the Tendaguru area belonged to the German East Africa colony.
