Four astronauts left the International Space Station (ISS) and headed for Earth, DPA reported, citing the American space agency NASA.

“SpaceX’s Dragon has separated from the ISS and Crew 7 is ending its extended science mission aboard the ISS,” NASA wrote on its account on the X social network, formerly known as Twitter.

American astronaut Jazmin Mogbeli, European Space Agency astronaut Andreas Mogensen from Denmark, Japanese space agency JAXA astronaut Satoshi Furukawa and Russian cosmonaut Konstantin Borisov left the ISS.

They were on the ISS for more than six months. The “Dragon” capsule is expected to land off the coast of Florida on Tuesday, BTA writes.

Space cooperation between the US and Russia continues despite the war in Ukraine and the resulting tensions between the two countries.

NASA astronauts Matthew Dominique, Michael Barratt and Janet Epps and Russian cosmonaut Alexander Grebyonkin of Crew 8 headed to the ISS on March 4 and are already on a mission. Besides them, there are three more astronauts on the ISS.
