Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands continues. On May 11, the Prime Minister visited the office of the Dutch Confederation of Employers and Manufacturers in The Hague, where he met with representatives of the local business community.

Ingrid Thiessen, Director of Confederation of Employers and Manufacturers of the Netherlands, noted that among local businessmen there is interest and interest in cooperation with Armenia, so they are ready to discuss the possibilities of making investments in different fields in Armenia, get acquainted with the conditions created for business. According to him, the Armenian community in the Netherlands has great sympathy, whose representatives stand out for their responsibility towards work, creativity and the ability to work in the business sector.

Prime Minister Pashinyan noted that he is happy to start the working day in The Hague with a meeting of businessmen and to present the economic opportunities and attractiveness of Armenia to Dutch businesses, also in the light of current challenges. Nikol Pashinyan thanked for holding this important meeting and presented the reforms implemented in our country, including the creation of favorable conditions for business, in the direction of combating systemic corruption.

In particular, Nikol Pashinyan noted that effective reforms in the development of democratic institutions are taking place in Armenia with the support of the European Union, which are aimed at ensuring favorable conditions for investments. The Prime Minister emphasized regional stability in the context of investment attraction and added that the RA government is interested in it.

Referring to capital investments in RA, the Prime Minister spoke about the large-scale North-South road construction project. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of cooperation in the fields of agriculture, high technologies, education, and industry.

In particular, the Prime Minister referred to the programs implemented in the fields of modern agriculture, education, and information technologies and added that these directions are of strategic importance for the government. The head of the executive also emphasized cooperation in the field of tourism, including gastro-tourism, where there are also wide opportunities.

At the meeting, Prime Minister Pashinyan, as well as the members of the RA government delegation, answered various questions of businessmen related to the possibilities and prospects of implementing investment programs in our country.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the RA government is ready to discuss mutually beneficial programs and projects and to support their effective implementation within the framework of its tools.
