Passengers have introduced the facility of ordering food via WhatsApp in trains. For this, IRCTC’s food delivery service Zoop has tied up with Jio Hapik.
Train passengers can easily order food by sending a message to this WhatsApp chatbot. If train passengers order using only PNR number, food will be delivered directly to their seat.
If you order food on WhatsApp using this facility, you can get food delivery at the next station. If you want to order food before then you have to download Zoop app and order. However, you can now order food on WhatsApp without the app.
How to order?
- Register the number 7042062070 in your mobile.
- If you message this number you will be asked for some information. Fill them up.
- The chatbot will then guide you step-by-step on how to order food.
- You can order food and pay through transaction methods like UPI, Netbanking etc.
