“We continue to improve the conditions for the activities of foreign, including American business. Of course, we are forced to respond to discriminatory, illegal restrictions introduced against us. But this is not our choice – we are not going to put obstacles, ”said Mr. Mishustin.

The prime minister also said that trade and economic relations between Russia and the United States “rest on a solid foundation,” and bilateral trade shows a steady upward trend. So, from January to July 2021, the volume of mutual trade increased by 47% compared to the same period last year – up to $ 19.8 billion. Russian exports grew by 60% and reached almost $ 10 billion. Imports from the United States exceeded $ 16 billion, having increased by quarter.
