The provisional calendar for the 2023 Formula E season was unveiled on Wednesday. The Paris ePrix does not appear in the scheduled dates.
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) and Formula E published on Wednesday a provisional calendar for the 2023 season of the electric single-seater championship comprising 18 races, but without the Paris ePrix, absent since 2019.
Formula E Season 9 will see the arrival of a third generation of faster, lighter and more efficient electric single-seaters, and a record 18-race schedule in 13 cities – more than the planned record of 16 races in 10 cities in 2022.
Hyderabad in India and Sao Paulo in Brazil will host a race for the first time while three ePrix remain to be determined.

Will Paris occupy one of these three dates? This remains to be confirmed in the final calendar, but difficulties could prevent Formula E from returning to the French capital, at least as early as 2023.
The Invalides circuit, in the heart of the city, is considered too small by the actors of Formula E, which must also face political opposition from environmentalists in the city of Paris.
