Making dumplings in school canteens is almost impossible, and storing large volumes of cooked food can lead to food poisoning. This was told in the press service of Rospotrebnadzor, RIA Novosti reports.

There are dumplings in the menu of educational organizations of the Moscow region, the department specified. They are not prohibited, but they must be cooked in large quantities in a short time, and the build-up of the product carries the risk of food poisoning.

At the same time, enterprises that provide school canteens with ready-made food are unlikely to be able to preserve cooked dumplings in an edible form, the Rospotrebnadzor noted.

The issue of the absence of dumplings in the school menu on January 10 at a meeting with the heads of districts and ministers was raised by the Governor of the Moscow Region, Andrei Vorobyov. The broadcast was conducted by his press service on VKontakte.
