An asteroid is flying towards Earth, which can be potentially dangerous. This was reported on the Instagram page of the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics.
The asteroid was discovered in the images taken by the AS-32 telescope at the Abastumani Observatory.
Astronomers have named it 2021 UL17. On November 11, he flew at a distance of 18 million kilometers from Earth. For comparison: the distance to the moon is only 380 thousand kilometers.
