On the basis of the Era military technopolis, Russia is developing domestically produced smartphones for military personnel and their families. Their job is to provide secure communications. The developers are also working on special mobile applications for daily activities on the territory of military units. This was stated by the deputy head of the Department of Information Systems of the military department, Major General Alexander Osadchuk.
The development will involve the mobile platform “Aurora”, Osadchuk explained during the international exhibition “Svyaz-2021”.
In the technopolis, experts are already testing the Quartz project, aimed at creating a digital ecosystem for the daily activities of the military and their families. Thus, the Passport system will provide a serviceman with access to data for his daily life.
