The “Big Seven” countries have expressed their readiness to continue providing military and financial aid to Ukraine, this was stated in the joint statement issued by the foreign ministers of the G7 countries, which was adopted as a result of the meeting held in Brussels.

“We underline our unwavering support to Ukraine within internationally recognized borders and express our readiness to continue providing aid to Ukraine, including military equipment and financial resources, so that Ukraine can defend itself from Russian aggression and recover,” the document states.

The foreign ministers of the “Great Seven” countries have also announced that they will prevent all attempts to help Russia to circumvent sanctions.

Earlier, the Kyodo agency, citing its diplomatic sources, reported that at the meeting held in Brussels, the foreign ministers of the “Great Seven” countries reaffirmed their readiness to intensify economic pressure on Russia and agreed to make additional efforts to coordinate with the international community in this direction until military operations in Ukraine will not be stopped.
