GREAT STORY – For a year, Philippe François, a former officer, has been detained in the terrible prison of Tsiafahy. Accused of plotting a coup, he was sentenced to 10 years hard labor. His lawyers denounce an empty file, a botched trial. He would be, among other things, a victim of the difficult relations between France and the Big Island.
This July 20, 2021, Constance François is happy. Her father flew to France to be present at her wedding, which was to be celebrated ten days later, in a pretty property in Île-de-France. Since January 2020, Philippe has been living in Madagascar.
Constance knows it, certainly her father returns for this big family reunion, but it is his last trip: his professional adventure on the Big Island has come to an end. Having resigned from his position as managing director of an investment fund called Tsara First, he resumed contact with his former employer in France, XPO Logistics.
