The two were chased to the service area “Laimburg is”dove they attempted a new coup.

Having noticed the agents, they then tried to flee: the first, on foot, was reached and stopped immediately, while the second, in a car, was intercepted by a traffic police patrol in northern Bolzano. The search revealed that the two were in possession of goods stolen in service areas of the provinces of Verona, Trento and Bolzano for a total value of approximately 7.000 euro, including laptops, bags and backpacks and other objects, which were then returned to their owners. A “jammer” device and a portable POS device were also seized. The two will have to answer to the charges of complicity in aggravated and continuous theft.

One of the two was also served with a decree of expulsion issued by the Police Headquarters of Bolzano as it is irregular on the national territory.
