The average air temperature is expected to be 3-6℃ below normal.
At the beginning of the week, Belarus will be in the zone of influence of a large Atlantic cyclone. It will bring cloudy weather with clearings, snow, sleet. Humidity up to 90%. Wind west, southwest, moderate, snowstorm. On Monday night from 0 to -7℃, on Tuesday it will be a couple of degrees colder. On Monday afternoon in most areas it will drop to -1℃, on Tuesday it will become colder – from -3 to -9℃.
In the middle of the week, the initiative in weather formation will shift to an area of high atmospheric pressure. There will be no significant precipitation at night; there will be light, short-term snow during the day. Light snow and ice in places, icy roads. The wind is western, southwestern, gusty. Humidity up to 90%. At night on Wednesday from -6 to -12℃, with clearings up to -15℃, during the day from -2 to -6℃.
Preliminarily, at the beginning of the second half of the week, the next Atlantic cyclone from Western Europe and associated atmospheric fronts will begin to determine the weather. As a result of their influence, snow of varying intensity will occur over most of the territory. Humidity – up to 90%. Western quarter wind, moderate, gusty at times. At night from -2 to – 7℃, with clearings down to -10℃. On Thursday afternoon from -2℃ to -7℃, on Friday from -5℃ in the west to -11℃ in the northeast.
The frosts will intensify over the weekend – expected to be influenced by an area of high atmospheric pressure and cold, wet air from the north. Light snow is possible. The wind is north, north-west, moderate, sometimes gusty. Humidity up to 90%. At night on Saturday from -8℃ in the southwest to -19℃ in the northeast, on Sunday another 3-5℃ colder, in the middle of the day on Saturday from -2 to -8℃, on Sunday up to -7℃.
