The President had earlier invited the parties to prove their majority in Parliament. Prachanda made the claim when the deadline given by the President ended at 5 pm on Sunday. Prachanda, who was in hiding for 13 years, is coming to mainstream politics after the CPN-Maoist party ended the armed conflict.
