WELLINGTON: New Zealand MP, Julie Anne Gender, cycled to the hospital to see the delivery.
He said in a statement: “We welcome a key member of our family at 3:04 am today. During childbirth, I did not plan to ride a bicycle. But, that has happened.
When I woke up at 2:00 in the morning to go to the hospital, my delivery was not so bad. It takes 2 – 3 minutes to go from home to the hospital. Nevertheless, the labor pains increased during the last 10 minutes there. Surprisingly now, we have a good healthy, happy baby. It has caught everyone’s attention.
Born in Minnesota, USA, Julie Annegender immigrated to New Zealand in 2006 and became a citizen of that country. In New Zealand, with a population of about 50 million, there are many humble politicians. The country’s prime minister, Jessica Anderson, has taken maternity leave while in office. He also brought his 3-month-old baby with him when he came to attend the UN General Assembly meeting.
