Currently, specific projects are being agreed upon as part of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to develop an ecosystem of innovation and startups.
As Day.Az reports, Inara Veliyeva, Chairman of the Board of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (İRİA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan, told Trend about this.
“Several meetings were held as part of the discussions on the memorandum. We are currently at the stage of agreeing on specific projects within which we plan to cooperate. Several projects that we are currently negotiating will be announced in the near future. However, progress is quite significant because, in my opinion, it becomes a platform for open dialogue. The priorities of all organizations are now clear to each other, and as soon as the projects are agreed upon, we will announce them and begin their implementation,” she emphasized.
It should be noted that on November 30, 2023, PASHA Holding, the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), SABAH.lab, the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the IV Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan signed a memorandum on mutual understanding on cooperation for the development of the innovation and startup ecosystem in Azerbaijan.
