Jeddah: Saudi Arabia begins second phase of cloud seeding This has been reported by the National Weather Service. A second phase of cloud seeding has begun over the southwest. NCM CEO and General Supervisor of Cloud Enhancement Program Dr. Ayman Ghulam informed.

Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture and Chairman of the NCM Board of Directors Abdul Rahman Al Fadli inaugurated the first phase of the programme. He said that the cloud seeding for the second phase is going well as per its plan. The aim is to increase rainfall in all regions of Saudi Arabia. He informed that the technical team is conducting inspections to find out the areas with suitable climate for artificial rainfall.
