Although the Israeli team entered a new era this summer with the League of Nations campaign under the new coach, Alon Hazan, the change on the lines and the staff that underwent quite a few changes did not bring the desired good news and at least on the defensive side. Even tonight (Monday) against Iceland, the Blues’ absorption streak continues.
So what is the negative sequence about? No less than 11 consecutive games in which the Israeli team has removed at least one ball from the net, this of course includes the current League of Nations campaign in which Israel has absorbed all its games.
Moreover, the Israeli team, which is trying to get the ticket to the League of Nations playoffs, has kept a clean sheet in just one of its last 17 games, a not particularly flattering figure, which is of course to say the least.
